Once again just the Fat-Man Farmer as Wee Wild Woman on lamb duty. Today we talk about why homesteaders and farms “fail”. Over they years I have worked with and consulted with many clients from homesteading to production farms. “Fail” isn’t really a fail it is a lesson to learn for the future. I run down some of the pitfalls and cautions that can cause frustration, and sometimes causes people to “give up”. But you shouldn’t “give up” if this is your passion. It may sound doom and gloom but if you go into these situations with eyes open the “fails” may be more speed bumps vs an out right failure.
